Position Summary:
The Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining the organization’s inventory by conducting regular counts of equipment, tracking and managing inventory returns, documenting overstock items, communicating lost, damaged, or missing equipment, and managing inventory data in NetSuite.
Essential Job Functions:
- Verify incoming shipments and ensure internal records are accurate and processed in a timely manner.
- Unpack and examine incoming shipments.
- Compare sales orders and purchase orders with incoming shipments to ensure counts, weights, and measures are accurate per the detailed order.
- Prepare items for outgoing shipments by determining the most appropriate method of shipment, affixing labels, and packing cartons and pallets for pick-up.
- Examine outgoing shipments for quality control, to ensure that shipments meet specifications detailed in sales orders or purchase orders.
- Process returned items in the system to ensure that appropriate actions are taken to return equipment to manufacturer or receive into inventory for future use.
- Prepare paperwork for transfers between Tucson and Phoenix facilities.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
- Conduct regular counts of stock inventory from the warehouse and verify data accuracy in NetSuite.
- Manage, receive, research, and properly process and tag returned items.
- Manage, research, record, and ensure overstock and unidentified items are properly entered into NetSuite and the Overstock List.
- Coordinate addition of used and overstock equipment to the AQ Overstock Sale Sheet with the Tucson Inventory Specialist and Sales Manager.
- Follow up with salespeople and the projects team on returned items to determine if we can return them to the manufacturer, and the return to vendor process.
- Work with the Tucson Inventory team to ensure accuracy of data in NetSuite.
- Communicate to project managers and salespeople when items scheduled for delivery are not included in said delivery for any reason.
- Establish reorder protocols to ensure relevant stock levels are maintained at all times.
- Drive cycle counts and annual inventory counts in the Phoenix warehouse.
- Assist with inventory transfers from one warehouse to another and accurately documenting them in NetSuite.

Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Navigating warehouse and reaching items above and below eye-level.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions.
Position type/expected work hours:
This is a non-exempt, hourly position. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30AM - 4:30PM. This position offers eligibility for health benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental insurance and 401(k) matching along with paid holidays, vacation, and sick time.
