About the Job
Position Summary: New Mexico Restaurant Supply, a subsidiary of Arizona Restaurant Supply, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist in the day-to-day warehouse operations including, but not limited to: loading and unloading merchandise, maintaining inventory control and accuracy, regular inventory cycle counting and system adjustments, processing shipments and returns, process freight claims, maintaining a clean, organized and safe work environment, and working as a part of a team in a busy warehouse environment.
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks.
- Receive all shipments into the ERP system.
- Assist with recording transfers, shipping, and all other warehouse transactions.
- Assist with maintaining inventory.
- Ensure the warehouse is safe and operation at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Competencies:
- Warehouse experience.
- Attention to detail and meticulous record-keeping capabilities.
- Positive communication skills and desire to work with others to solve problems.
- Responsive via phone and email.
- Safety-oriented.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Experience on a forklift.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and the ability to be covered on Arizona Restaurant Supply’s auto insurance plan.
Physical Demands:
- Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and poles.
- Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
- Adjusting or moving objects up to 60 pounds in all directions.
- Operating machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, or heavy equipment.
- Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds.
Position type/expected work hours:
This is anon-exempt, hourly position. Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM - 5PM with a one-hour lunch.
